This project involved a complete 360 degree review and analysis of the business model and strategy of the US’s top tier soccer league, including from legal, economic, investment and media perspectives. Detailed recommendations on structural changes to MLS to achieve greater profitability were developed. The study focused on the importance of elevated player investment to upgrade quality and increase competitiveness.

PLL is a new professional lacrosse league. Prior to its 2nd season, which turned out to be during the pandemic, its marketing approach was reviewed and an updated strategy was recommended.

Dagenham & Redbridge is a National League tier club in the English Football League (“EFL”). The team’s economic model, competitive position, organizational goals and revenue and marketing opportunities were assessed and evaluated.

This historic club’s strategic pivot to successfully improve its performance was assessed and analyzed. Additionally, a revised marketing plan capitalizing on the club’s strengths was proposed.
Proposal for Professional League in Secondary Sport: Handball
The sports landscape has become more fragmented but still 4-5 major sports dominate. This group project created a proposal for a professional handball league, from league and team structure and rules to public relations, marketing and financial projections.
Atlantic League (baseball) – Social Media Strategy
The Atlantic Lease is an independent minor league baseball team. While it was serving as an “experimental” league for MLB, a social media strategy was designed in order to capitalize on the novelty of this arrangement and elevate the league’s following.
